Emily is very sporty and is a female jock. She's very good in her school work but excels in sports more. Emily doesn't say very much and is a known goody-two shoes, sweetheart and peacemaker. She sings mostly, is very much sensitive and childish. She's quiet and secretive in contrast to Shane.

Like Valerie Payne, Emily is a tomboy so she often wears shirts with two number digits, track pants or jeans and sneakers.

Emily first appears when she's late for her audition for the Starlight Sensation. She says that she wanted to audition but her basketball coach didn't allow her to leave early. She sings Titanium by David Guetta and Sia and she is the second person to get accepted into the club. She leads in the vocals in Gettin' Over You at the end of the episode.
